Week of April 21st
Well good afternoon, I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!! With the very welcoming weather over the past weekend one thing is guaranteed, Race Season is officially upon us!!
We were able to take advantage of the warm weather and open test session at Spartan Speedway in Mason MI on April 19th. Over this past winter we made a few changes to our Marketing Associates/Little Diablo Sprint Car as well as freshening our motor. Making our way onto the track around 1:00, we soon found all the hard work we spent in the shop this winter paid off as we found great speed in the car right away!!!
Our first race weekend for 2014 is in less than two weeks. We will be kicking off our season on May 2nd at Spartan Speedway and the following night May 3rd at the fast Angola Speedway in Angola IN. Last season we won our last race at Spartan Speedway and I am the defending race winner at Angola Speedway!! If you are in the area stop by for an action packed night of racing and help cheer on our team to Victory lane!!!

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone stayed warm this winter, It sure was a cold one . The weather is finally starting to warm and Race season is here upon us. I for one am ready to hit the track!!
This Saturday April 19th we will be taking our Marketing Associates/Little Diablo non-wing sprint car to Spartan Speedway in Mason Michigan to shake her down!! 2014 mark my 26th consecutive year driving racecars and my 2nd season behind the wheel of a Sprint car!! Before 2013, it had been many years since I was last considered a rookie, so for 2014 I am happy to pull off my Sprint Car Rookie stripe!!
This year I have added a second Hurricane Sprint Car to our stables and am excited to debut it May 31st with the Auto Value Sprint Car Series at Angola Speedway in Angola Indiana. The new Hurricane 410 Cubic Inch Sprint Car will race the Winged events and the Hurricane Sprint Car that we raced last year will be raced at Non-Wing Events.
Like last year I have a strong force behind me with Crew Chief John Boy Hotchkiss, Team engineer Scott Hall, Mechanic and also my Brother Josh Turnbull, Team Advisor John Turnbull SR and PR/Chaplin our good friend Dave Dehem. We are looking for great things out of our team this year and will be keeping everyone informed through our web site, Facebook and twitter on a weekly basis!!
